Some services provided at our office are covered by the Medical Services Commission. However, others, such as clinical hypnosis and lifestyle counselling are specifically excluded and have to be paid for privately. We are not aware of any third party plans that cover clinical hypnosis by a family physician so, if you have extended medical insurance, you may wish to check with your insurance plan first – they may cover services provided by a psychologist or registered clinical counsellor instead, although few offer pain-related hypnotherapy.
The office is located in a serene lakeshore location where you can relax easily in natural surroundings. It is a very winding rural road so please drive carefully and allow plenty of time to get to your appointment.
